This site is devoted to an epic quest to seek out knowledge as to whether IP router appliances can be built with a guarantee of achieving eventual consistency between their Routing Information Base (RIB) and Forwarding Information Base (FIB).
At times, this blog will also evaluate other Distributed Systems papers that are orthogonal to networking and IP routing. This is primarily intended to help me articulate my understanding of the concepts within these papers and at the same time improve my technical writing skills.
